Linceya ("we", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it and your rights.

Data collected
- Account: email address, username, profile picture
- Sports profile: playing level, city/region, court position
- Matches: scores, results, match history
- Videos: match videos uploaded for AI analysis
- AI analyses: scores, metrics, personalized coaching
- Subscription: Premium status (managed by RevenueCat)
- Technical identifiers: push notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging), install identifier, Android advertising ID
- Geolocation: approximate city/region to suggest nearby clubs (only with your explicit consent)
- Diagnostic data: anonymized error reports via Sentry (stack trace, OS version, technical context — no personal content)
- Usage data: in-app navigation events (screens viewed, subscription offer displayed, plan selected, purchase completed or abandoned) and subscription events (sign-up, renewal, cancellation, refund)

Data sharing
Your data is never sold. It may be shared with the following processors:
- Supabase — storage and authentication (EU servers)
- Google Gemini — AI analysis of match videos (US servers, transfer covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses)
- Firebase (Google) — push notifications and audience measurement, install attribution, EU/US servers
- Sentry — error monitoring (EU servers)
- PostHog — product analytics: subscription journey and usage statistics (EU servers)
- RevenueCat — management of subscriptions purchased on the App Store and Google Play
- Stripe — payment for subscriptions purchased on linceya.com
On the linceya.com website only — these tools are not present in the mobile app:
- Google Analytics — website audience measurement, with IP anonymisation. Until you consent, no cookie is set and only anonymous measurements are sent.
- Meta (Facebook, Instagram) — advertising campaign measurement
- TikTok — advertising campaign measurement
- X — advertising campaign measurement
The three advertising tools are not loaded at all until you accept the "marketing" category in the consent banner. You can change your mind at any time via the "Cookies" link in the footer. They are also deliberately disabled on subscription activation pages, whose addresses contain personal information.
Match videos
Uploaded videos are used solely for AI analysis. They are sent to the Google Gemini API and may be temporarily retained by Google in accordance with their terms of use. We do not share your videos with other users.
Legal basis for processing
In accordance with GDPR (Article 6), we process your data on the following bases:
- Performance of contract — to provide the Linceya service (AI analysis, ELO, ranking, subscription management)
- Consent — for geolocation and push notifications (you can withdraw consent at any time in the app settings)
- Legitimate interest — to improve the app and prevent fraud
- Legal obligation — to retain billing data
Data retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If your account is deleted, all your personal data is removed within 7 days, except billing data which is kept for 30 days for legal obligations.

Security
All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). We use Supabase with Row Level Security (RLS) policies to protect your data.
Children
Linceya is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data on minors under 13.
